No announcement has been made by Disney that I am aware of as of how much will be cash and how much will not be but with 900 plus rooms I suspect it will lean more heavily on the DVC side and not the cash side. Whereas Wilderness Lodge is the opposite. But I like your optimism because I too want to own here as well if the point chart are good but it all depends on how much of the resort they decide to commit to the DVC side.

My understanding was that Riviera is fully DVC and after it's sold out, they won't have cash hotel guests anymore? Whereas LSL has already been announced as mixed use for the duration. Am I incorrect on that?

That's true. Same for Poly tower.

Good point. I think what I read was casting forward assumptions that LSL would mimic the announced plans for Reflections, but it is true that Disney has been tight-lipped about any new/differentiating details.

That could still be the plan but I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t confirmed and I missed it!

If they do make it all DVC with no offical hotel side it will be a fairly big DVC!!

I think the announcement of the "same footprint" means that they're following the old build model. The resort hotel room, in the same building footprint, should be slightly smaller than the DVC deluxe studios. I sorta think that if the general consensus on line was off this much, there would've been a gentle correction by now. There's a number of key sites--very friendly to Disney--who've voiced this repeatedly.
