Purchasing pin lots on ebay

I posted a question concerning where and who to buy from and got some, what I thought at the time, good advice about where to look for lots of pins. Well, I bid on five different lots this afternoon and was out bid by the very same amount on all five auctions. My user ID was the only one listed and all the other bids were private....it seems very suspect.

it does, you can try reporting it to eBay but you'll never know. Why not use the eBay Super Thread in my signature (just follow the link) to find a different seller on eBay.

When that happens to you..
it is because...one buyer beat you out on all the auctions.
The way that you can tell that....
is to click on the bid amount..
it will come up with asterisks and numbers next to them instead of a bidders id.
if the numbers in all of the auctions that you lost match,..then..it is the same bidder..and is probably not suspicious..it happens all the time.
The reason?
Frequent buyers..like me...
NEVER wait till an auction ends..and..then bid..
it is too time consuming..and annoying.
We use bidding software.
so...you figure out what the top price that you want to pay is...
and you enter it...
for all the auctions that you want...
way..in advance..
and..a lot of the time..
you enter the same amount.
so..if you entered 20 bucks as your highest bid..in all of those auctions..
if she entered 24 bucks..
you would lose each auction and her winning bid would be 20.50.

best bet read all feedback before purchasing, I used to sell tons I will be selling tons more when I get back as well, all mine are legit. I am currently deployed and can only do this while I am home tho, but I will let you know when I get back

I don't rely on FB, too many buyers of Disney pins either know nothing about scrappers or simply don't care. I use my own common sense and our eBay super thread before purchasing from eBay.
