Purchasing MVMCP tix through UT?

I need to purchase 8 MVMCP tix for early December. With discount through undercover tourist looks like I can save about 80$.

Any disadvantages anyone can think of in purchasing through UT vs Disney direct?

No difference. Once you get your tickets through UT, it is easy to link them into My Disney Experience. We have used UT several times with no issues at all.

Never had a issue with UCT.

UT is a great and reputable company. Tickets work the same as they do buying from Disney, but you can get a refund should something happen and you need to cancel.
