Purchasing LLMP for a Group?

I am a little confused about how it works when with Lightening Lane purchases for group. We are a party of 3 and are travelling with another family of 3 (all staying on property). Our friend's family are all firsttimers so it makes sense for me to book all all of the LLMP & LLSP when our window opens. It is my understanding that in order to do this I need to pay for it all on my credit card? Is that correct or is there a way for them to pay simulataneously when the window opens then I just all do the booking? Also when purchasing the LLMP and LLSP are they all separate transcations? Like if I purchase LLMP for our MK day would that be a separate transaction for our HS day, EP day, AK day, another MK day--do you purchase all for the weekor separate per day? I am assuming the LLSP are all separate purchases?

Not going into too much detail..... if you want to book for all of your, the purchases will go on your card, the one tied to your MDE account. The only way to avoid that is if you book for 3 of you and your friends book for their 3. But then you risk having your times separated, which may or may not be a big deal.

When you go onto the app, you'll select a park and a day. You can book up to 3 LLMPs in that park and up to 2 LLSPs in any park (optional, of course). Once you're done with the selections for that day, you'll pay and are done for that day. Then you'll go back and select your next day and do it again. If your friends are savvy with MDE and comfortable with booking, it's possible you could book/pay for all of you one day, and at the same time, they could book/pay for all of you another day - might be a way to share the cost. Or you just get half the money from them at some point!.

A suggestion - get on your MDE app at your convenience NOW and go through the steps to book a couple days from now. I know you don't want to buy, but you can see how the steps work. You don't pay anything until you click at the end, so there's no concerns there - you'll just cancel when you get to that point. I found it the best way to be familiar with the process before we actually bought.

This all assumes you're all sharing the same resort reservations. If you're onsite and they're not, for example, you'll have different booking restrictions. Hope this might help a little, and not add to confusion.......!!

Thank for the info. My friend has never been to WDW and has no clue how anything works nor is she a planner so I can't trust her to book anything. She has always wanted to take her dd to WDW but was too overwhelming with planning such a trip and asked to tag along with us since we've been many times (though not since LLMP was introduced tho assuming it's similar to purchasing Genie +). We have never traveled together and I have to admit I am a little nervous about putting so much on my card, plus dealing with the exchange rate since we are not from the US. However, I have been very upfront about the cost of LLMP/SP per person per day and her mom is paying for the trip has agreed to reimburse so hoping this process all goes smoothly.

You'll know pretty well what the cost will be a couple weeks before you book - they'll be in the app to see. You could probably put together a spreadsheet and let them know in advance what it will cost - maybe get paid upfront? Good luck - sounds like a fun trip. I enjoy the trips with newbies!!

Yes you pay for your transactions per day and at 1 park for your first 3 LLMP attractions, and your LLSP can be in the same transaction for each day. An example would be that you want to ride Tron, and GotG on the same day. Since you can book (2) LLSP per day max, and they can be at any of the (4) parks. However you will need park hoppers to visit multiple parks in a singld day.

Also when purchasing the LLMP and LLSP are they all separate transcations?

They can be or you can combine your (3) LLMP and/or (2) LLSP per day in to a single transaction.

Again it is on a per day boundary. You are able to select a specific return time 1 hour window for each LLSP, up to 2 per day. You might chose to purchase your up to (2) LLSP attractions as a separate transaction from your LLMP selections if you had different individuals wanting LLMP and/or LLSP.
