Purchasing Lanyards and Pins on ebay?

We are leaving on the 15th and I'm in panic mode! Gotta order some of these on ebay - anyone done it? I see sets of 30 going for $25 - $30. My kids are DS8, DS 5, DS5, DS1... getting so excited!!!

I usually order my pins from mousepins. I would wait on the lanyards til you get down there. They are only $5.95 and can be purchased in the resort shops.

Do you wait on the lanyards so they can choose what they like? I noticed there are many types.

I get them from ebay when we need them, never had a problem and saved a lot of money over Disney prices. I would do it.

I do purchase traders on eBay, however I am very careful about who I buy from. There are a lot of sellers who have "scrappers" for sale, these are unauthorized Disney pins, basically fakes, and they then use them for traders. On the Collector's Board we have a thread with lists of sellers many of us have dealt with personally, feel free to drop in! I have purchased from Pinderellas_Castle, I got a lot of 50 traders and 2 free lanyards for about $80, I don't know what she has up now but you might want to check her out.

I have bought trader pins from ebay before trips and have never had a problem. My kids trade them off for pins they want from CM and love this as much as some of the rides. Have fun!

I've only found a couple of different styles online. There really isn't any savings by buying online plus you have to pay shipping. I don't mind ordering from mousepins.com because it's a huge savings.
