Purchasing hard ticket MNSSHP w/ DVC discount?

Do they usually sell out? We got tickets 3 years ago on Halloween, but I'm not actually sure if Halloween is less busy?

We want to go on Sunday, October 18th.

I think a fair amount of dates sold out last year, though not until much closer to the event date.
