I would like to use Disney gift cards to pay for my annual pass. I was told by the CM on the phone that I could only use two forms of payment. In addition, they are limited to two transactions per purchase. Is this true? Anyone able to use for examplec ten gift cards to purchase an Annual Pass?

From what I recall, Disney Gift Cards are considered one form of payment and you can use multiple cards to purchase tickets and annual passes if purchases online or at the ticket booths. It has been a few years for me though...so maybe things have changed. :confused3

People have posted being able to buy tickets over the phone with multiple GC. I think you just have to keep trying until you get a CM that's willing.

We purchased APs with GCs in February and were told that over the phone only two forms of payment can be accepted with each gift card counting against the 2 forms. In order to use the multiple GCs you need to either: 1. purchase an AP voucher from you local Disney Store, which you then turn in at the ticket counter or Guest Services in DTD for the APs or 2. purchase directly at the ticket counter or DTD.

We opted for #1 as we only had to carry 4 vouchers down to WDW instead of a stack of 50+ GCs. Everything went smoothly - the only hang up was that we got to MK a little after RD the first day and had to wait in line for about 20 mins to get the actual APs.

I just purchased two annual passes over the phone yesterday with 23 gift cards. You have to call (407)566-4985 and select option 5. They should be able to help you out with no problems! :-)

Thank you for your response. I will just purchase
The gift cards at Kroger since I can purchase them in $500 increments.

Thanks!

I used 30 Disney gift cards a couple of weeks ago to buy 3 annual passes. The guy that I spoke to said that the record in his office was just broke last month by someone using over 100.

I wonder if it depends what number you call. We just bought our APs- the DVC special on the Premium passes, from what we had read here, we thought you could use 2 forms of payment and two gift cards - meaning, we thought we could use 2 gift cards and a credit card to pay the rest. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to use two forms of payment period. I had bought a $500 gift card at CVS when I was getting 5% cashback on my credit card, but then I only had a few $50 gift cards as well (that I bought at Lowes - 5%cashback). I also bought each AP as a separate transaction....normally we'd get our passes in person, but this deal was too good to miss, and it was only good through yesterday. I think the last time we bought our APs we used several gift cards, but again, it was in person, not over the phone.
We had called the DVC number to book; I wonder if we tried the other number if we could have used more cards...oh well.

Yes, if you had called the other number, you could have used more cards. At least you will know for the next time

I just received an email, I asked them since I have over 3000$ in gift cards I was told that I could use only two. They responded to to Disney parks or quest services and I could use as all that I had there in person.

Is there anyway to transfer balances on to one card and then use that?

No. That's why people have difficulty when trying to make their purchase online. If you could combine GCs, there wouldn't be a problem.

I have in the past found a Disney rep that has done it for me
I emailed the numbers and they combined

yes, please let us know if it works, was planning on the doing the same thing. I remember online they limited the amount of cards we could use

question, once you purchase a voucher do you have access to the number for the membership to buy your TIW card and search for hotel discounts, etc...etc....

Hi everyone!

Thanks to DinahInWonderland I was able to use the telephone number she provided to order my two annual passes.

my wife just called that same phone number to buy annual passes with 30 gift cards and the lady told her that she could only take 2 forms of payment. She just wouldn't do it. She said that she had to call the phone number on the back of the card to add up all of the 50 dollar gift cards to make one big gift card. So she called and they told her that they couldn't do that. So I called that same phone number about 30 mins later and said to the guy hello I would like to buy 2 annual passes he said ok are you paying with gift cards I said yes he said ok how many do you have and lets get started. It went very smooth.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I think some CMs just say what they want to so they do not have to go through the hastle of punching in 16 digit numbers loads of times ;)
