Purchasing from Disney

Hi there,

I'm suffering from Addonitis and am looking to purchase some points at SSR.

As I am in the Netherlands I can only purchase through Disney. I will be there in october and will take the tour. If I decide to purchase, what happens next.....?

I have purchased an add-on through Disney, but did it over the telephone, rather than in person. I think I have heard that you are given the documents to take with you (maybe a day or so later?) if you decide to purchase in WDW, with a time frame to return the documents to your guide.

As far as the documentation goes, it was pretty much the same as for our original purchase - sign by the mouse ears, date by the palm trees - we returned everything via FedEx and it was all done

Hi,
We did an "add on " last May. We paid by credit card although Disney's credit was available if we wanted it. We had to take our passports as proof of our ID and once we had decided to buy we moved to another room to do all the paperwork. The whole process took about an hour although we were chatting with our guide some of that time. We were able to take all the paperwork away with us and the deed was sent by mail about 3 months later.

Is there a minimum deposit... my credit card only allows about $1000 (and I need my spending money as well!!)
