AP for family members
They have to live at your address and have proof of that address on an ID
accesses to member cruises
Heard they are great but are more expensive than normal cruises not less.
savings of purchasing direct before the minimums go up
Yup where it possibly makes sense if in the long run you want the direct membership.
Also it's really hard to find a 100 pt extended contract in the August or September use year I wanted. And I get points right away instead of waiting 3+ months.
Yup if you are in a time crunch to book a stay understood. With OKW, SSR, and AKV you don't really need your points 11 months out though since rooms can be had much closer to travel dates.
That is a big thing though in finding that specific contract you want. They will cycle through but might take days weeks or months.
It's a good plan really if in the long run you want those direct benefits. Possibly you move out of Florida as an example down the line? So then the AP comes in to play.
