Purchasing DDE card w/o having the AP yet?

DW and i just scheduled a trip in mid-DEC and decided to get AP's - considering that we'll probably take 1 or 2 more trips next year. i want to get the DDE card before we go, but we won't have our AP's until we show up at Will Call our first day at the parks in DEC. all we have now is a Will Call # that was given to us over the phone...can we use that # to get the DDE card?

You need the pass or the voucher to get the DDE card.

thx......they didn't say anything about a voucher when i ordered them. the last AP's that we got about a year and a half ago, we did receive vouchers that we were able to use to get the DDE. since all they gave us this time was a Will Call #, i thought maybe their process had changed and that they weren't sending vouchers any longer.

anyone know how i can get vouchers for my AP's so that i can order my DDE card???

A couple of people have reported that MS helped them get DDE with will call APs by placing a conference call. OYou might try calling DDE and see if the voucher # will suffice. Let us know if you have luck please.

The voucher number will work for the DDE if you have it - I just did it that way in September!

You can have the vouchers mailed out to you, but I believe there is a mailing fee involved.

This very thing happened to me. DDE would not accept any will call #'s . I had to call MS, cancel the "will call", and get them to send me a voucher so I could obtain my DDE. They just automatically put the AP's on will call w/o even asking if that's what I wanted.
Time consuming, and annoying----

As long as you are arriving Mon-Fri, you can just pick up the DDE letter from guest services after you get your pass. You wont have the actual card this trip, but they will give you a letter saying you have paid for DDE that you can use for the discount. I don't believe you can do that over the weekend though.

I just did this myself. I called and ordered my annual pass. I told them I wanted to get a DDE card. After completing the annual pass transaction I was put on hold and the MS rep called the DDE people and then I was transferred to a rep there. I ordered the card and she told me the letter would be at EPCOT guest services and I could pick it up Saturday morning.
