Purchasing DDE at WDW....

Has anyone purchased the DDE while at WDW? We have always ordered it before we went down, but now that you can buy it there we thought this was the way to go.

Where did you get yours and did they just give you a temp card or a real one?

We bought ours this year at the IG. You can do it at any Guest Services location at the parks and DTD. Not ticket windows though.

It is made of the same material as APs when purchased at the parks....Tyvek I guess. Same size too so it slips easily in an AP sleeve.

I got mine at DTD Guest Services. It took all of three minutes to activate my AP and buy the DDE. I sure am glad I have it though!!! They are certainly worth it!!!

We bought ours in DTD at customer relations. It took 2 minutes and it was a permanent card good for 14 months

This may be a dumb question. But what is DDE? And IG?

IG is the International Gateway entrance to WS which is used by guests staying at the Epcot resorts. There are also boats there that go to those resorts and DHS.

If buying APs at DTD, don't forget that they are active once purchased there.

We got ours at Guest Services at MK. It was quick and easy!
