purchasing 100 pt SSR resale-have ? about buying AKV

I'm in the process of purchasing a 100 pt SSR contract. We won't be closing until the end of May. I would like to buy pts at AKV. How long after my closing would I have to wait to do this? I would like to get the incentive that has been discussed on the boards. Is my closing too late in May for me to do this?

You can buy in to AKV now. Since you are not a memeber yet, the minnimum is 160 pts @ $96 after $8 credit per point. After your SSR resale is put into the system and you can make ressies, you can add on AKV for any amount of points, 25 and up, you want. It will be $104 or more, depending what the price is when you are eligible.

Call your guide, if you don't have one, get one. Tell them what's going on and what you'd like to do. Once you close, the deed will be sent to DVC. It will take a week or two to get it all changed over and an account set up in your name. I am not certain the cutoff date in June to buy at the current member price but I think you're going to cut it very close. If you're already working on it there is the possibility you can be grandfathered even if you're technically past the cutoff date. See if you can move up the closing date a week or two.

I agree with Dean. Make contact with a guide NOW so you can maybe get locked into the lower rate before it goes up June 1.
