Purchases at DTD?

I know that the stores in the parks will ship back to your Disney resort but will the stores in Downtown Disney? What about a store in a different resort - will they ship back to your resort?

Not sure about DTD but i did have something that I purchased at the PR shipped back to the CR where we were staying.

Yes, purchases made Downtown will ship to your resort.

If you purchase something in a resort's gift shop they will not ship to another resort.

I purchased a tiny little mickey head candle, and the store in DTD asked if I wanted it shipped to my resort! I told her that was very sweet to offer, but I could just put it in my purse (or pocket!)

I don't know the answer to resort to resort but when we were there for vacation in August we did ship from DTD to resort, If you are shopping towards the end of your trip becareful ours took 2 days to get to our resort and then we picked it up at the gift shop. I almost forgot about...

What I mean by shopping from resort to resort is that you can't purchase something at Poly's gift shop and have it sent GF. The only purchases that will be delivered to the resort are those that are made either in DTD or in the parks.

Yikes! That's good to know. I was going to do mega shopping at DTD before going to the Adventurers Club on a Sunday night. I'm going home Tuesday morning. Phooey!

You could always stash your Poly shopping in an MK locker and pick it up on the way out. They used to have some lockers at PI, but I haven't been there for a while so I don't know if they still do. We used to put our purses in them so we didn't have to keep track in the clubs.

I never waited 2 days for my items to be delivered to the gift shop. The usual time is 24 hours. The only reason I would think it took 2 days is if the purchase was made late at night. I always got my major shopping done the first week I was there but if I did pick anything else up I would make sure I got it 2 days before my departure or I would just carry it.
