For anyone else in this weird window where you purchased before the deadline but closed after, if you check the website it appears Disney is marking us to not have the benefits.
In the window where you would normally reserve a member extra, I was left with a "membership not eligible" message and a link to a page that talks about the 4/4 change Plus my digital membership card was a vertical white one not the standard blue horizontal format.

Anyway, if you're in the same boat, I called member administration and they were able to go in and change it and I now have access to all the benefits/ events.
The big thing here is They said as of 4/4 the system changed it and each account has to be manually changed after someone verifies the rofr submit date. So while we were grandfathered in, you'll have to make a call to get the benefits.

My contract was sent to Disney for ROFR on March 23 and and closed on May 10.
I have received the blue membership cards and on the vacation club website it allows me to purchase Gold annual passes and sign up for member events. I was grandfathered in and did not have to call to get benefits...it showed my membership card on the site as blue.

I've read two other reports from the same time and neither had to call. So, likely it's a case by case basis but a good heads up for those waiting!

Hmm, how odd. Maybe the rep just wanted me off the line and didn't want to say they messed up my account somehow. Either way, if you are entitled to the benefits check to make sure they are there and call to get them if they aren't

Supplanter - Thanks for letting us know - it wouldn't surprise me at all if there are others who end up in your situation and don't think to call.

Also, it's helpful to know that the digital membership cards that do not qualify for benefits are white rather than blue.

Thanks for the heads up. I suspect that most were being fixed, but your's was one that needed manual processing for whatever reason. I remember another person who met the 4/4 cutoff but had to call to get their membership to show they were eligible. So there might be more people out improperly labeled.

My guess is that the system wasn't ready to implement the restrictions based by ROFR submission date (the previous round of restrictions applied by closing date). So it's possible now they have to mark accounts one by one and some may slip during the set up procedure. Good to know it can be fixed.
