Purchased 3 day hopper plus pass...

Now I wish I had bought 4 day hoppers!We are there for 8 nights and staying at AKL/Poly for the first time.We really wanted to relax and enjoy these properties therefore,planned on less park time.Now I'm thinking "What if the weather isn't as great this December as last"?Thinking it might have been wise to purchase more days just in case!!!
I called paramount this morning to see if I could add a day to my existing passes and of course I knew the answer would be no!Thought I'd try anyways!Oh well,if we really want to go to the parks another day we will just pick which one we REALLY want to go back to!Forgot to mention we are also going to MVMCP!!!

Sounds like a really wonderful trip...maybe when you check in you could ask if you can up grade...you never know!

I bought my 3 day hopper plus passes through Paramount so I figured I better ask them if I can extend them because Disney doesn't sell 3 day passes!I can't wait for our trip and hoping that the weather works in our favor-would love to RELAX at the resorts!!!!But if it's too cold to hang out at the pools etc. we will just get a day pass for "the chosen" park!!!
We were just out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant and I was talking to my DS about our trip and the family across from us heard me and we started talking about our upcoming trips!They are going at Thanksgiving-we are going the 2nd week of December.They are DVC(I think tha's what it is called!) members!I need to look into that for us!!!

KIM, we always buy 7 day hoppers. Of course, they're more expensive upfront but you end up paying less per day for the parks. They're also valid INDEFINITELY and are honored even if Disney has put through a price increase (so what else is new ) for admission.

Kim, are the passes 'proprietary' to Paramount? Will Disney let you upgrade to a hopper of more days. Enjoy your trip, and maybe take a DVC tour while you are there. Set it up with Guest Services at your resort.

If it gets cold, go to Disney Quest.

You can upgrade any WDW passes at the major park's Guest Relations windows regardless of where they were purchased. All the info they need is magnetically encoded into the strip on the back. They will know exactly how much you paid.

Wow!Thanks guys-I had NO idea that I could upgrade when I got there!So I just go to guest relations?I assume I must do this before I use any of the days?
Dan,will you be there at the same time as us?Ironically,I was going to post last night(never had the chance!)which person on the boards you would most like to meet?My vote would have been you!!You have to be the most kind hearted gentleman I have ever encountered!I know I don't know you personally but your posts say it all!Thank you!I always wait to see your response to posts-they always make the MOST sense!We need more people like you in the world!

I've both met with Dan and conversed with him here and on PM and he is a WONDERFUL, SWEET, FUN, and CARING Gentleman. My boys are still talking about Mr. Dan. My dh is very shy around new people and he and Dan hit it off immediately. Dh felt totally comfortable. We are all looking forward to meeting up with Dan again during DisCon and maybe before!
