Purchase with purchase at the parks

Do they offer the purchase with purchase deals at the parks? If so, is the item the same as it is at the Disney Store? I'm loving the Easter Bunny Mickey, but I'm trying save for my trip...no purchases for now . It's painful...this waiting and saving!

Right now it’s a canvas tote bag for $20 with a $40 dollar purchase.

I've never understood the hype over the purchase with purchase deals. I'd get being excited over something like "Free beach towel with purchase over $50". But it's always like, here you can buy this bag for $20 instead of its original price of $50, when it really should retail for $15...and you only get that price if you already spend $40 or more

Not judging anyone that loves their "deals" but I don't get it

The first time I noticed one of those was in Epcot and someone was trying to buy a blanket but the cm wouldn't let the gentleman buy it without spending $50 on something else first and the gentleman and myself were both flabbergasted at that rule.

When I was there in dec it was a fleece blanket or Christmas tote bag if you spent over $40 I think

I think the Disney Store deals are any purchase gets you the benefit, I might be misremembering. I don't think $12 is too bad for a plush (by Disney standards). But I wouldn't purposely spend $50 just to get it. I feel a little misplaced posting shopping questions on the strategy board. Let me know if I should take these elsewhere.

Same. I've done a couple things every now and then with tacking a few extra bucks on for something, but if I just wanted thing X, was tempted by thing Y at checkout, I normally just pass, especially if it means going outside my souvenir budget. It's not like you're getting the "super, ultra rare, Mickey mouse FP password that unlocks free FPs"... it's a tote bag.
