Purchase tickets for others question.

I am buying tickets for my daughter and her husband. The tickets will be in my App. Is there a way to transfer the tickets to them through the App? I read that they don't give a paper ticket anymore when scanning in. We'll be together most of the time, but it would be nice if they had access to the tickets in case we do split up part of the time.

When we were there a couple weeks ago we were given paper tickets at the gate the first time we entered the park.

If one of them has the app on their phone they'll be able to access the tickets. I buy tickets for my whole family, but sometimes DH takes the kids on big rides without me. He has their tickets on the app.

They create their own Disneyland app accounts.
You add them to your friends & family.
They accept your invitation to connect.
You should then be able to transfer/assign unused tickets to them.

I *believe* I was able to take a snapshot of my sibling's annual pass to email to her, but don't recall. She didn't want to create a DL account.

They can enter the ticket number or scan the bar code into their app.

You don't transfer them, they just use the bar code number and enter it into their account. Tickets can be on multiple accounts.

I have mine, my wife's and another couple's tickets in app on my phone in the barcode form. Under tickets and passes...is that good enough to get into the park and for the genie plus we paid for?

We were there this weekend with 4 day PH. No paper tickets were given. The only people I saw getting paper tickets were those that were with a CM who was getting them in on their CM pass I guess.

I had mine, my husband's, our son's, and my sister's tickets loaded into my app with no issues. I just scanned everyone's tickets from my phone and they were all able to log into the DL app on their phones using my log in. I was able to book LLs, ILLs, and scan us all onto the rides.

Mmmm, if I remember correctly I had to enter the long code into my app one at a time because it would not scan. I bought the tickets online, not direct from DL.

When you redeem a LL it gives you a screen with a bar code that you scan at the LL entrance.
