OK! I have a question for anyone that may know an answer for it! We are going to WDW from 10/26/2005 to 11/04/2005 and I was wondering if yyou know if it is cheaper to purchase the park hopper plus ahead of time or wait til we get there and purchase it through DVC membership I believe there is some kind of discount! We are staying at SSR for the 1st 2 days then BCV the rest! WE will need 4 adult and 1 child I want the length of stay passes! That is usually cheaper to do that! We may do 2 days of universal since my son is older now and will appreciate it more now! So if anyone has suggestions please feel free to give them!

No park hopper plus discount any more. In fact...No park hopper plus tickets any more! Now it is Magic Your Way tickets. You can buy them for any number of days, and you choose if you want them non-expiring, park hopping etc. The cheapest way to go is non-hopper expiring tickets (good for 14 days). The only DVC ticket discount now is the $100 discount on annual passes.

If you purchase the MYW ahead of time, you get a bit of a discount. Check the budget board for some other discount places that can save you even more. If you want to compare all the options, look at the Mousesavers website. In general, buying 7 or more days is a relative bargain than just buying 3 or 4 days.

So does this mean they also no longer offer the length of stay passes?

:confused3

Sorry, no more LOS. However, the DVC AP discount is a great deal-- $100. off the regular price (around $300. per adult for regular AP, $400. for the PAP). If you can plan another trip 51 weeks out and get two trips in on the AP, you generally come out way ahead, especially with park hopping (which is an extra cost with MYW--but the base ticket price is cheaper than before). Good luck deciding!!!
