Anyone have a really good punch recipe to share?

My sister and I are planning a surprise retirement party for our mother. After dinner, we're inviting our family back to the house for cake and punch.

Want to make something fun (and kid friendly  ).

I've tasted a great one once with sliced strawberries, pineapples, and bananas. Sadly, I have no idea what was used to make the punch. Please help.

Oh, I'm ordering a yellow cake with strawberry filing and butter cream frosting.

Frozen punch. Everyone likes it.

1 Kool Aid lemonade
2 Kool Aid Blue Rasperry Lemonades
1 cup of sugar
1 big can of pineapple juice
1 QUART of water

Mix and freeze.
2-3 hrs before your shindig, take it out and pour a 2 liter bottle of Squirt over it. Work it every 3o min until it gets slushy. Add fruit if you like, before of after freezing. Pineapple chunks, strawberries and marachino cherries I have found work best. If you want to make it alcoholic, add a bottle of Vodka.

Thanks...I forgot to add:
ONE quart of water, before freezing it!

Our favorite punch is one that grandma began making years ago.

Here it is:

1 envelope black cherry kool-aid
1 envelope cherry kool-aid
2 cups sugar
1 quart water
1 large can pineapple juice
7-up

Combine both kool-aids, sugar and water until sugar is dissolved then add pineapple juice and stir well. Pour into a large freezer container (we use a gallon ice cream bucket). Freeze well.

When you are ready to serve it, allow it to soften just a little then put it in a punch bowl and pour some of the 7 up over it. If you scrape the ice chunk a little it will be slushy and more yummy. Just add 7 up a little at a timewhen the liquid begins to disappear. All of the kids, young and old, look for Grandma's Punch at the holidays.

Here is my kids' favorite punch recipe:

1 quart raspberry sherbert
1 large bottle lemon/lime soda
frozen strawberries

Put the sherbert in a punch bowl - add soda the frozen strawberries. Make about 1 hour before guest arrive - strawberries will no longer be frozen but will keep the punch nice and cold. It ends up being a really pretty pink color. Its so easy!

1 can of Hawaiian Punch (fruit punch flavor) ..I think the can size is 64 oz....chill well...pour into punch bowl...add 1 bottle (chilled) 7 Up...add ice cubes to keep chilled ..when ready to serve add ice cream scoopfuls of orange sherbet...mmmmm....haven't had this in ages..now I want some!

we love this one!

large bottle of Red Pop (2 or 3 liter)
1 can pineapple juice

If you want to make an ice ring just freeze some of the mixture in an ice ring.

Raspberry sherbet
Hawiian Punch
7-up

My son's teacher made this for one of their parties and it was really good...
