MY DSIL gave us 2 big boxes of pull ups for girls. DS2 will start PT soon. Can I use them for him?? DH is insistant that I can't since the thickness is in the wrong part. It has been a while since we had PT in our house so I am trying to remember. We had 3 ds then a dd now a ds. DS is not quite ready for PT but I figured I throw it out there to decide what to do w/ the 2 boxes

If it makes a difference they are the pullups w/ the princesses on them

thanks in advance

DS wears princess pullups all the time and DD used to wear CARS pullups lol never had issues with leaking or anything.

I think that the girls pullups are supposed to be more absorbent in the middle while the boys have more absorbency up front; however, if you make sure his "boy bits" are pointed down into the pullup when he uses them, you shouldn't have a problem!

I found a big bag of girl pull-ups in the clearance cart at the store. The bag was ripped but they only cost $6.50. For that price, I will but pink diapers on my two yr. old boy.

So far they have worked just fine. Go ahead and use them before he refuses to wear them because they are girl diapers.:rotfl2:

My son has been using girl pullups for a while now. I bought every pack I could find when Rite Aid had them for $3.

Thanks dis friends. I will use them. Dh will just have to get use to it. DS2 LOVES the princesses. DD6 room is all princess and he is always in there naming the princesses! I will put them on the side for when he is ready-- hopefully soon.

thanks again- knew u'd come thru!

Yup, go for it! I teach 2 year olds at our church preschool, and we were given a large bag of boy pull-ups that we use on girls when we need to (like if they forget to bring their backpack, or they run out of their own pull-ups or diapers). They work fine. (I do think they are unisex!)

Use that to your advantage.
He doesn't want to pee on the princesses or they will cry. ;)

omg....read this thread just to see what it was about - thanks - I needed the laugh! don't pee on the princesses ! priceless! :rotfl:

I've been doing it- using the girl ones for my ds. And I LOVE the "don't pee on your princess" line! That'll work SO much better than the don't pee on you flags, for the "CARS" ones! :lmao:

Where I work we use what we have. We always have more princess pullups than the cars pullups so we have used the princess ones on boys many times. Theyve worked fine.
We've had parents get made at us for putting princess pull ups on boys and i we just look at them and go....well then send in pullups for your own child os that we dont have to supply them.:thumbsup2

My kids used whatever I had with diapers. Some were for girls, some were for boys.. There was no difference. Zilch.

Use that to your advantage.

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2::thumbsup2Awesome!

When my oldest was a baby, he LOVED him some pretty princesses.. and ALWAYS got princess pull ups. my older dd never used pull ups, so I dont know what she would have wanted.

This is my favorite thread ever, "don't pee on the princesses" :lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
