HI Everyone,
First of all I want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me with info on resorts etc. These boards are fantastic!! That being said I find that you guys are more interested in my vacation plans then my husband and kids. It is very frustrating to plan this stuff on your own!!
We originally were going to skip Disneyworld! Now with info from these boards we will be staying on site for 2 nights (originally I was at CSR, then changed to 1 night Pop, 1 night POFQ, as of today we are 2 nights POP) I managed to get the 2 nights at POP for $55 a night and as we are a family of 6 we need 2 rooms. I decided that $120 a night for the disney experience was a good bargain. We have been to Disneyland four times and never stayed on site. I am really excited about staying at the POP! I think it looks like the perfect resort for our kids. I know we are giving up the slide but we are following up this part of our holiday with a week at Ron Jon Cocoa Beach and the slide there looks pretty awesome! The pools at POP look great and will be fun for evening dips at the end of our crazy busy two days. We were going to stay at POFQ but I decided that the money saved on accomodation could be better put to use. From info on this boards I knew to request connecting rooms , which area to request (I know no guarantees but at least I knew I could ask) I know about the birthday badges (this added Disneyworld trip is a birthday present for my twin daughters). I know about MVMCP and how you can get in early that day. You guys are an incredible "Disney Fountain" of information.
Hopefully I won't make any more changes but if I do they will probably be based on info I have found on this site!
Thanks to everyone!

Hard to get everyone housed when on vacation unless you get a condo or a cottage; so 2 adjoining rooms at POP should be a good deal for you. For a little less than double what you're paying for POP, next time you might want to rent DVC points and get one of the huge 2BRs at Old Key West (with full kitchen and washer/ dryer); it will likely suit your needs better when the kids get a bit older. Glad it is working out for you. Save yourself the stress, and just plan the park days now, OK?
