We've had them at Flame Tree BBQ in AK. They were very tasty!

Rainforest Cafe makes a good bbq wrap (beef or chicken) I love their mojo sauce!

North Carolina is THE place to get barbecue (We don't call it pulled pork.) There are many restaurants and lots of church/civic club fund-raisers. If you are ever driving through, stop in some small town and get a couple sandwiches -- look for the place where the police officers are eating.

The above being said, I thought the sandwiches at Flame Tree were AWFUL. Good barbecue is never greasy and contains no gristle -- my sandwich there had both. It has been about three years -- perhaps I caught them on a bad day. We had okay barbecue at Whispering Canyon Cafe -- not as good as at home but not bad.

I am from Alabama therefore am familar with BBQ quite a bit. I think the Flame Tree BBQ was good. The sandwich was huge. I also say the Rainforest makes a good attempt. If I had to choose it would be Flame Tree. They are only open seasonally. When we were there in May they were open and had lots of people wanting a BBQ. Hope this helps!!

I really enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork at Flame Tree & ESPN!
I'm not from North Carolina, and I think the OP needs the best at WDW.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all bring our favorite foods to WDW from the state we live in or we're from?
I think you'll probably enjoy it at either place.
Just like since I'm from Boston I would never get Chowder in Florida or Lobster either, it's just going to be a let down there are so many other choices.

A third vote for ESPN. We actually made a return visit there one trip especially for the pulled pork sandwich. It was the best one either DW or I have ever had.

I am from Canada and probably would not know a good BBQ Pork sandwich if it hit me on the head...

That being said I had one at the Sunshine Season Food Fair - Epcot - The Land - BBQ Shop...

And I liked it!

*now thinking that I would not likely enjoy being hit on the head with a BBQ sandwich...*

I've tried the Flame Tree, ESPN & Land versions. Didn't care for FT's at all, dry & somewhat fatty. ESPN's was good. Favorite of these was at the Land. Have had it at least 3 times & has always been good.

The pulled pork at Whispering Canyon was really good. Best thing they had there (not one of our favorite dining spots). We have not tried the others - yet.

My vote is for ESPN. My DH dies for these. Me and DD's went once without him and boy did he pout, he wanted his pulled pork sandwich. Can;t wait until July and that will be on of the first restaurants we hit.
