Pull Outs in Rooms

We are thinking of buying someones points and staying at a DVC property in Dec and had a question about pull outs.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 11 and 7. Is it possible to get a pull out in a studio or 1 bedroom? And someone had mentioned that the 1 bedrooms at Animal Kingdom have a pull out couch and chair, is that correct? Is that offered at any of the other properties?

Normal configuration of studios is a queen bed and a full sized pull out sofa. OKW studios have 2 queen beds, no pullout.

One bedrooms have a King bed, and queen sized pull out sofa. AKV (except Value-class unts) and BLT (Contemporary) one bedrooms have a King bed, queen sleeper sofa AND a single pull out sleeper chair. AKV and BLT are the only DVCs to have the additional sleeper chair.

Actually, during a recent re-hab at Vero Beach Resort, a sleeper chair has been added to at LEAST a portion of the one br units (if not all). There was a thread here with pics included. That of course does not mean it will happen at any other DVC resorts.

If you are thinking about booking December, you better hurry. Members usually book at 11 months out for Dec. You are almost at the seven month timeframe where any member can use their points at any DVC resort.
