Pull down bed at BWV

Just returned from Disney World with a split stay that included staying in a studio at BWV. We also were there in January and had a refurbished two bedroom. The murphy bed in the two bedroom was fine. However, the murphy bed in the studio we just stayed in had indentations where two people would sleep on the bed so not quite as comfortable. Makes me wonder how well the murphy beds will stand up to significant use since I read above that some have complained about them at Riviera which I think was the first to install them. Still way better then the sofabed.

If you didn’t report it, you should. Sounds like that mattress should be replaced!

Does anyone know how these "pull downs" compare to the "day bed" 5th sleeper bed at some resorts, like VGF Resort Studio?

That video is from a few years ago; so long before the refurb. I'd be interested in a new room tour for that one.

I have a one bedroom in a month at BWVs.
So, is it correct, we have a pull down bed in the living room, not a couch?

That is the only sleeping area in the living room and the bedroom has one queen bed.

Is above correct?

Yes, there is a queen murphy bed in the living room. The bedroom has a king bed.

That video is from a few years ago; so long before the refurb. I'd be interested in a new room tour for that one.

I will buy a dole whip for the first person who posts a video of a standard 1bedroom in the x123 line

The Murphy beds are such an upgrade over the pull out couches. We stayed in a 1BR at BWV recently and the Murphy bed was great

When was that video made? I’m still trying to confirm they did not replace those sofa beds when they shut down the BW view villas for the second time during the renovations.

Refurbishment was still going on. So those rooms - it was only a few - may or may not still have sofa beds. We need someone to stay in the one in that video!

Yep, a single Murphy under the tv and the queen/full Murphy over the couch

curious the size of the single murphy under the TV. We haven't booked a 1 BR for many many years but have been considering it. My son is 6'4 so probably wont fit him. LOL

The one bedroom does not have the single murphy under the TV. Sleeps 4.

That feature is part of the studio. Sleeps 5.

I'm a 5 foot 5 inch tall older woman and I have slept on the small murphy. Great for little kids. Better than a sofa bed. Not for a 6 ft 4 guy.

I don't plan on sleeping on it again. I just gave it a try out.
