LOL, deja-vu. DH gives me endless grief about snapping pics of my food while on vacation... I just ignore him. I'm telling a story here, and there are people who LIKE my food pics.

How else can we live vicariously through each other's experiences without TR's?

That is right. I love me some food porn. I am pretty sure that is why I like pinterest so much.

I feel like I extend my trips with trip reports. Relive the magic so to speak. I definitely have learned a lot reading about other people's experiences.

Sorry your breakfast was just okay, but I have to say, I think it's just adorable how they put "See ya real soon" on the menus and it seemed like even the meals were named something that had to do with leaving. That's sad but precious!

I enjoyed reading all about your land and sea trip! It seemed like a wonderful one! Very exciting about your upcoming trip as well! Please make sure you let me know when (if) you start a TR!

Their breakfast in general were just OK. But everything else was wonderful. Themes were big on the boat like they are in the parks. It makes things more enjoyable, I think. I will let know if I start another. Thanks so much for keeping me company on this one !!!

I know I haven't posted much (ok - just the once!), but I have really enjoyed reading along with your TR. Once day, hopefully not too long down the road, we look forward to doing a Disney Cruise also. It's good to know that both of your kids really enjoyed their clubs.

If I remember correctly, I think DD and I will be at WDW around the same time as you. We'll be there 06/07 - 06/19. I'll make sure to say hi if I see you and your DH.

Yes, we have annual passes for the water parks from last June that are going to expire. So, you know .... we just HAVE to use them. And since we have annual passes for the parks and DVC points for accommodations, well it is just a no-brainer that we NEED to go in June. All we have to pay for is food and gas. This was an excellent strategy in convincing DH to go. That, and we can celebrate Father's Day as well. I am still thinking of telling him it is our anniversary, too.

You definitely need to add a Disney Cruise to your Disney bucket list. Seriously, it was AMAZING !! I can't wait to read about your trip to DLP !!

Still thinking about it. We have three more trips this year and they are each 4-6 days a piece, so I might. I really enjoy writing them, but the family gets annoyed with all of the picture taking.

DD was constantly reminding me to take pictures of our food this past weekend. LOL!!! I just can't dedicate myself to food porn.

And speaking of this past weekend, I thought of your DD often during our daily Mickey Bar break. That and the Mickey pretzel are DD's snack of choice.

I remember the days when I could spend hours in the sun without so much as a blush of sunburn. Now when I hear it is going to be a sunny day on the morning weather report I start burning. Stinks getting old. What's funny is I am militant about making sure DD is layered up w/ sunscreen, and in those efforts I will occasionally neglect myself. Did that just this past weekend when I took DD to the pool. I could feel the burn happening. I ended up hiding under my towel and falling asleep.

Palo sounds like a pace yourself kind of place. I can't remember..is it adults only, or is it like Victoria and Albert's where you have to be 13 to eat there. Oh, can't wait for the day DD and I can go to V&A!! Well maybe I can..means I have a teenager.

What did DH and DS think of John Carter?

The cruise sounds so lovely (save the fact you are floating around in the ocean out of sight of land)! Not sure the Caribbean is my thing, but we'll see how I feel about cruising in general after going to Alaska. I know DD would love to do a Caribbean cruise. Maybe the experience of doing an Alaska cruise will cure me of my irrational fear. I am sad y'all will be in WDW when we are up there for my sister's "wedding", but know you will have all kinds of hot, humid fun in FL. I guess we'll see you Thanksgiving.

I knew I liked you the minute I started reading your PTR and there was a picture of a grey goose slushie...

I'm thinking I should just start taking pics of my food every day. Not that anyone at DIS would look. Maybe I'll just post them to FB

I'm sad your report is over too I just finished reading the last day. It actually makes me sad my trip is over too! We were so tired from the trip (I'll never ever drive again) that I didn't get that sad Disney feeling when we left but now it's kinda hitting me. I guess what is getting me by is our countdown for September. and the possibility still hanging out of their of a solo trip next month or maybe a me and DMIL trip while DH is in Montana.

Can't wait to read your next TR, I love your writing style and reviews. I went into our trip wanting to write one and having DH take lots of pictures just like last year but after a few days when I'm too pooped to think I start to forget. You just set the bar so high with your TR's that I want to replicate that lots of pictures feeling and food storites. Maybe in a few weeks when I get caught up on work (regular work and my new Travel Agent job which is a ton of work right off the bat) I'll try to get around to posting one.

Hey Erin !!! I am so glad you stopped in to read. Our trip was incredible and I hope you enjoy reading about it and can possibly get some tips from it.

We are sailing the Fantasy next Thanksgiving (2013) and we are super excited about taking another cruise.

I'm on page 21! Loving every minute. I see your green light is on...so...quick questions....Did you buy the photo pass CD and if so did you think it was worth it? It's SOOOOO expensive! I signed us up for the FE exchange and I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it. Did you get any 'easy to make', that you loved, gifts? I have been pouring over the threads for these gifts and am slightly overwhelmed. How many gifts or how often did you give out gifts, it seems like some people do it several times and some do it once or twice and I haven't gotten a clear answer. I was thinking one bigger thing and then on another day a smaller thing. I am really loving all the pictures! I have to get more excited about this, it's strange, I am such a WDW fan so it's hard for me to be as hyped up for the cruise since it's more of an unknown for me (don't get me wrong - I am super excited, it's just different then planning something I am so familiar with). I remember you bought a lot of DVC points, so were you able to use those for the cruise - I assume so since you went to the DVC meet. I agree that the cruise photo pass CD is expensive and we didn't get it for that very reason. But in hindsight, I really wish we would have sprung for it. There are so many wonderful photo ops. We had some really great photos and we got the least expensive packet and I wish now that we had some of the photos we didn't buy.

We loved, loved LOVED the Fish extender thing. Soooo much fun. I had a great time putting my gifts together and we got some really great ones in return. I took photos of our gifts, so hopefully that will help with ideas.

We delivered gifts to each stateroom only once during the cruise.

Anyone can go to the DVC meet, so I encourage you to go and check it out. You get freebies and there is free champagne.

We were SUPER excited about our cruise and so were the kids. I can understand how you may be kind of not excited because it is an unknown. But the boat is just as Disney as the parks are. Go in with no expectations other than you will have a wonderful time.

We did not use our DVC points for this cruise. We had a pre-paid trip that we purchased through RCI in 2010. We used that "voucher" for this cruise. We have considered using them for a cruise, but points are high for a cruise and we would only be able to get one person on the boat with our points and we would have to pay for the rest, so we decided to use them for WDW and just pay for the cruise.

Very exciting that your DH is considering buying DVC !!!! Fingers crossed for you. And it is no bother if you have questions. I love to talk about Disney, so ask anything you like.
