and how did you like it? Was it different then before? I have seen some pics and it looked very confusing to order food-is that the case or did the pics just show the food ordering in a odd way?

You've seen pictures of the new restaurant? Could you please share?

We LOVE WPExpress and are really hoping they still have some certain things on the menu.

From Allearsnet:
Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney Marketplace will be closed for refurbishment beginning January 7 through March 6. Once it reopens, there will be new menu choices, and an expanded indoor dining area. During this time, the West Side location will remain open.

I was at Downtown Disney on Wednesday night and it still wasn't open. Really bummed because I wanted to see the new changes as well. We will be down in December to try it. Hopefully, they will improve the ordering process.

According to today's Daily Dose of Disney newsletter it is open.

And finally, Wolfgang Puck Express Restaurant, has reopened after
closing for a rehab in January. There are new menu items and double
the seating capacity.

Just found this:
Wolfgang Express Re-Opens at Disney World
»Print2008-03-14 — The Wolfgang Puck Express restaurant in Downtown Disney Marketplace will reopen tomorrow with an updated design and décor, double its previous seating capacity and several new menu items, after temporarily closing for remodeling in January.

"After more than a decade of success in Downtown Disney Marketplace, we are very excited to have renewed our lease and remodeled the restaurant to provide our guests with a freshly updated Wolfgang Puck Express," says Ron Biskin, president, Wolfgang Puck Express.

Chef Puck's famous theatrical open kitchen and hearth-style oven serve as the heart of the 4,600-square foot, 173-seat restaurant, creating an active and dynamic staging area for the culinary team. The entire kitchen features new state-of-the-art equipment to prepare Wolfgang's signature dishes, including a new rotisserie oven, where the restaurant roasts all-natural rotisserie chicken, turkey and roast beef.

One of the new restaurant additions is a frozen yogurt bar featuring nonfat vanilla and chocolate yogurt with a choice of fresh seasonal fruit, granola, assorted nuts, chocolate chip, and chopped cookie and brownie toppings. Other new menu items include Pizza with Meatball and Parmesan, Chicken Tortilla Melt and Four Cheese Macaroni Al Forno, Rigatoni with Chicken Bolognese and Spaghetti with Meatballs.

The restaurant's minimalist design features the brand's deep chocolate brown and accent green colors, sumptuous leather booths and banquettes, light wood table tops, and two family-style tables, making Wolfgang Puck Express the perfect gathering place for friends and family, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Other design features include black and white photos of Chef Puck and fresh ingredients that are commonplace in the kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors offer a complete view of the bustling dining room from the new and expanded patio with brick columns and awnings.

As part of Wolfgang's Eat, Love and Live (WELL) program, Wolfgang Puck Express offers products that meet the natural, fresh and organic standards of the company and a commitment to sourcing from local family farmers and purveyors, whenever possible, who support the humane treatment of animals. "Our goal is provide our guests freshly prepared quality meals at affordable prices, served with Wolfgang Puck's genuine hospitality. We are thrilled to reopen and once again welcome guests to our restaurant," says Shaneena Tremblay, general manager, Wolfgang Puck Express.

Don't want to change the topic of this thread but what is the Daily Dose of Disney newsletter - can't believe I haven't heard of it. Thanks.:confused3

I just got off allears and they opened today. There is a review, some pictures of the new seating areas and updated menus (including b'fast).

It mentions they take the dining card but unsure about dining plan. We would check it out in June if so. Anyone know :confused3

Good thing that they have so many good choices here, those stinkers got rid of my favorite BBQ Chicken Pizza. :)

The allears menus are updated now. Looks like the got rid of the sandwiches. :confused3

Oh well! That BBQ Chicken Salad sounds realllyyyy tasty. And they still have the creme brulee which makes me very happy.

but they still have:

Rotisserie Beef Knife and Fork - House-roasted garlic rosemary Niman Ranch rotisserie beef, served over crisp Romaine, tossed with Roma tomatoes, red onions, crumbled Gorgonzola, dressed with Horseradish Caesar On a savory garlic herb crust$10.95

it is just soooooo incredibly good:cloud9:

I have never eaten here, but it looks soooo good. It believe it is listed as a DDP choice, so I can't wait to try it!

What about the four cheese macaroni... anyone ever tried it? What did you think? I'm kind of picky eater, so if it's a really fancy mac & cheese, I'm not sure if I'll like it. Any opinions would help! Thanks :goodvibes
