Publix Savings site

I met the webmaster of this site while in line in Publix earlier this week. Check it out --- she does a lot of the work for you. I didn't realize that Publix accepted competitors store coupons (our Publix considers a competitor a store within 5 miles). Using some of her tips, I saved $83.13 this week vs $40-$50 I usually save using BOGOs and coupons.

Best deal today for me: Tyson Chicken nuggets. Usually $6.59, marked down to $4.99. I found $1 off coupons in the Publix Grilling Out booklet (yellow, found at the front of the store by the regular circulars). Final price: $3.99 per bag (I bought four)

Anyway, I know a lot of people either shop Publix regularly, or shop there while in Orlando, so I'd like to pass this site along.

Not all publix stores take competitors and not all stores double.

My store stopped taking any competitor coupons, it broke my heart! I haven't shopped their much anymore because of that.

Thanks for this site. Could you explain what all the abbreviations mean? I am trying to read it, and it looks like good deals but I don't understand it. I don't use coupons very often because I make most things from scratch at home. But cereal for 50 cents a box, and name brand, my DS would go crazy!

At the top of the site, there is a tab marked "BASICS" all of the abbreviations are explained there.

love publix and their bogos and using two coupons.. on that note mine will not take supertarget coupons, only albertsons since its a competitor grocery store..
