Publix Question

Does Publix deliver to the resorts? Or, could I order things like gift baskets and a custom cake, and pick it up myself?

There are no Publix's Super Markets that I'm aware of that deliver. You can call the bakery dept at Publix to order cakes for pickup.

I ordered a fancy dessert from Publix for DH's retirement dinner, and guess who I saw picking up a cake -- Disney Catering! We brought the dessert to California Grill. They stored it, but we had to bring it to the table ourselves. It was yummy -- strawberry chocolate ganache.

You could use WeGoShop. Give them your list and they'll shop at the store of your choice then deliver to your resort - of course for a fee. The fee depends on how much you spend. Good luck!

We also used Wegoshop.com for our last trip and they did a great job! They shopped at both Publix and Whole foods for us. I called both markets ahead of time to check if they carried some of the brands/items we needed. The last couple months before our trip I started a running list of our groceries and then just emailed it to Marge a week or so before our trip. It was great not having to worry about shopping and I will absolutely use them again! And now I already have the grocery list as a starter template to use for future trips.
