Published Again !!

Excited... I just found out that I've been published in a book, several of my photos were used, I'm mentioned in the storyline, and I have a photo credit on the back cover..

the original pics were a combination of pics for the band that split up before releasing their cd, {the cd was finished the photos ready to go and they had a stupid fight} and for Cola's musical pursuits after the breakup.

I knew he was working on the book and he mentioned using some pics in the book, but I had no idea of the timeframe..

Since his new band is finishing up a cd and wants to do a shoot for that cd, he was calling to set that up so he figured he'd tell me about the book. he apologized for not letting me know sooner but he has wanted to just walk into my office and hand me an autographed copy. apparently there is a delay in getting his copies.



as for usage rights, I gave them rights to use the photos for anything they wanted, as long as I received proper photo credit, as a part of my networking plan.

so the initial shoot for a cd cover, turned into exposure on the other guys cd, plus exposure with the book, and now the new band wants me to be their exclusive photographer
