So far the only people that I know that have seen it are 4 teenage girls who did not all go see it together.

All 4 of them said it was totally amazing and they loved it....everyone is different.

OP here. I by no means meant to offend anybody with my first post I just wanted to convey the depths of my despair at seeing the film. Like I said I am a big fan of the first one and we own it on DVD so I was really looking forward to this one but what a major, major dissappointment! By all means everyone is intitled to their own opinion but I have been telling my friends how bad it sucked and thought I would also share that here. Like I said everyone I went with to see it walked out of there with a what the **** look on their faces! It had so pretty good special effects but no storyline whatsoever. This is coming from a chick who usually loves "FLUFF" movies so to speak. Can't wait till Harry Potter though. My DH told me when we left the theatre after seeing Transformers that if Harry sucked he was giving up on movies entirely. So many have sucked lately! Star Trek was good though!

I am quite put off with the notion of super suits in reference to GI JOe. none of my action figures had super suits. Secretly, I always had a crush on Snake Eyes (even though he was supposed to have been horribly disfigured). I love the strong silent type.

I was actually quite jazzed about the Harry Potter preview and the District 9 preview.

I was so excited for Gi Joe until I saw the preview a few months ago...

And if Cobra commander doesn't say something like COBRAAAAALLLLALALALALA! I'll write a letter of complaint!

Jokes....explosion...Megan Fox's butt/****s...chase scene...explosions...jokes...chase...run, run, run....inside jokes...explosion...Megan Fox's butt/****s...jokes...inside jokes...LOTS of explosions and running...the end But I loved it...and so did my crazy die hard transformers fanboy friend.

I like the idea of the super suits. As was said before.... to each his own. I want to see one character have the "Kung Fu Grip"!!!

I didn't see the first movie, but I really liked the second one!

I thought it rocked and can't wait to see it again. I will of course own the DVD, but there's no way that will compare to seeing it on the big screen.

In another thread, someone claimed that parts of it were unrealistic. It's a movie about cars that turn into robots I don't understand that line of thinking.

This kind of movie is always better on the big screen IMO and people I know have said they liked it. They describe it as a typical summer popcorn action movie. Fine by me.

Man I loved the movie. Lots of awesome BAYSPLOSIONS!!!!

And no plot to speak of. But really...who goes to a Michael Bay movie for plot?
