Never never never drop a heavy wood dining room chair on your pinky toe. It hurts and it WILL bleed.

Also, never kick a shoe with the same foot the hurt pinky toe is on. It hurts even more and it WILL, no doubt, bleed on the fairly new tile in the computer room and again WILL leave you no foot-fashion choices but flip-flops.

Because I combined both of those potent steps, I am now stuck with

FRANKENTOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's lovely with a bruise...

Please, for the love of all things footwear and sanity, refrain from bludgeoning your poor feet.
