pts. transfer question

We currently own 150 pts. at OKW with a Sept. UY and rented 144 pts. from another member for a Jan. trip. My question is this...we are now considering selling our contract and replacing it with another. If I do this, I have 144 pts. that now have a June UY in my Sept. UY contract. I am trying to figure out how to retain the 144 rented pts. and be able to cancel the ressie I have in order to sell the contract with all pts. in tact. Can these rented pts. be transferred to one of my other contracts? Any other suggestions? We do have another ressie for Nov. that I could "exchange" the pts. for and use these, but it happens to be Thanksgiving week and I'm concerned that I may not be able to get another ressie. Will they just change where the pts are coming from or do I need to cancel and rebook?

I needed to use some banked points and had to cancel the last 2 days of my reservation, then rebook those 2 days as a separate reservation using my banked points. If there had not been availability for those 2 days, I could not have used my banked points per Member Services. They won't just reallocate points, at least that has been my experience.

If you sell your contract now those transfered points will go with the transfer, and Disney will cancel any reservations as a result of the sale, and you cannot prevent that from happening. As to switching points for the Thanskgiving trip, I do not know whether that is allowed with transfered points without canceling and rebooking.
