OMG!! Me too!!! I bring travel sized cans of lysol spray for the remote, light switches, bathroom fixtures and the room phone!! Yes, I am a germ-a-phobe!

Oh, and just so you all know--I am not this bad at home... its the on vacation in a place where there are millions of other people from all parts of the world sick with who knows what... I don't want anyone lecturing me about building up dd's natural immune system!

Oh I so understand. It is only natural, you don't know what someone who stayed in the room before you had. You can't be too careful.

UPS just called--I didn't pick up--and they didn't leave a message--but the only reason they would call me is to let me know they are going to deliver my DL package!!

So, I should have it soon!! I need to put a note on my door, I've had to do this before, and ask for it to be delivered to the neighbor for me if no one is home... I can't wait to get my package!!

That makes the trip all that much more real for me when we get the package. I have to open it and look at every little thing. Then I look at it again and again.

I haven't read through the whole thread yet, but I have to ask where in Oregon are you from? We are coming down from Corvallis and will be there the 3rd through 8th... we are driving, and staying at the Ramada Maingate across the street....

OMG- I just read about UPS calling you today about your disney package- I am SO hoping that mine comes soon too! I am anxiously awaiting - and it kills me every time the UPS truck goes by with out stopping! HOW Exciting!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in St Helens... north of Portland on the Columbia

I'm not a huge fan of being in a car more than about 5 hours... so it is great that we can fly out of Portland for a decent price! I bet you can hardly wait for your package... won't be long now!!

I was a little late to work because I had to go back to put a note on the door for the ups guy asking him to have my neighbor sign for my package--it worked before, hopefully they'll do it again. We'll see tonight if I have my package or not!!

My package was so much fun to go through! I got Mickey luggage tags this time... we got Donald last year (maybe the last 2 trips?), and we also have YOMD tags.

I put my MHP tickets with the rest of the stuff so I don't forget and leave them behind. And tomorrow is payday, time to pickup some more gift cards!!! Almost there!!

I can't believe you have less than a week! Are you packed?! I started packing already... just waiting for those 1st weather reports (the 10 day ones!) Keeping my fingers crossed about the santa anas and fall fires. The last October trip we did there were some pretty bad fires. It did keep the crowds low because it was smokey... but we just noticed haze and had no issues with it otherwise!

I started packing at I think the 3 week mark. It's an event in itself for me. But I pack, unpack, pack, unpack - I like finding new ways to make things fit and it helps me figure out what I may have forgotten to pack. It's looking like my trip will be in the mid to high 70's which would be perfect. I'm not sure how accurate that is though. Is weather.com usually accurate? I don't know where else to check but I can ask some of the 'locals' and see if I need to adjust anything. I started off hoping for a hot weekend, but if that's how the weather works out it could just be perfect. I'll need to find a sweater to bring with me though. I keep forgetting that part. Oops.

Always keeping my fingers crossed that the fall fires wont be so bad. It's a horrible time of the year sometimes.
