Hey everyone. Just some quick basics I am 29 and this will be my third visit to WDW. Once when I was a young kid and then once off site in May of 2007. For my DW this will be her third visit also, (Same deal, once as a kid, with me off site and now this one) and my DS8. We were planning on going in May of next year then read about deal for free meals and decided to go. Originally we were going to drive down (from CT) and only stay m-f but 20 hours in the car each way plus wear and tear didn't seem fun so we decided to fly out and extend the trip two days. We haven't told DS yet as this will be a birthday surprise as he will be 9 on December 6th. We will be telling him we are going down for business and we are figuring he will get it once we are boarding the DME! We decided to stay at Pop and upgrading to the standard dining as the idea of eating only CS all 7 days was not appealing.

Right now we have ADR's as follows

Monday Tappan Edo
Tuesday The Crystal Palace
Wednesday Coral Reef
Thursday Tusker House for Character dining breakfast
Friday Hollywood and Vine.

We have left ourselves open for the last TS and really have no plans for Saturday and Sunday just yet. I figure we will see what parks we want to visit more and head there. This is exciting for us as Xmas is the DW favorite time of the year and she loves Disney. She is currently recovering from a hysterectomy so this is as much a gift to her as it is my DS.

We will be there at the same time! Good for you and what a great place to heal for her and celebrate a birthday! We are in the same boat! :)

Well I am thinking that the extra days will allow us to take a slower pace if needed in case she is not able to keep up. Hopefully being over two months post-op we will be OK. What is the weather like in December, are the pools warm enough to use during this time of the year?

Jumpin on too!

I wanted to tell you that where we are staying in Feb the pool is heated. Not sure about Pop though because we have never stayed there. I think there is a Pop info thread on the Resorts board!

Have fun and I hope your DW recovers quickly!

I've read the pools are heating, I am just wondering if they are still enjoyable with the weather being a little bit colder outside. We plan on spending the whole day at the park so it would be later on when we get back like 6-8ish is not later.
