SO I have loved reading everyone's report and decided to write my own! We are going to DLR 9/23-9/30. We will be staying at PPH~ I want FULL Disney immersion for my Son's first trip.
The Players in this PRP~
Me :wizard:: longtime Lover of Disney. I have a huge collection of Snow globes, Kitchen things; every Holiday is Disney themed- specifically Mickey~ Single Mom Extraordinaire to:

DS pirate:~ 5 3/4 years old~he's never even been to an Amusement Park before!

This will be DS's first trip to Disneyland. I have been to DLR dozens of times over the years when I lived in NorCal. During the other trips it was always just adults wandering and having fun. This will actually be my first trip with a child!
I have tried to plan this to death~ I have studied pricing, time of the year etc. We booked with AAA. I wanted to go “off” season and being there for the Halloween Party ended up being a happy coincidence.
I have already made ressies for Character Breakfast at PPH Surfside. I have bought custom tees to match our plans. Mickey dressed as a Jedi for Jedi training, Fantasia Mickey for our Dessert seating, Pirate Pluto for The Pirate League reservation…. You get the idea.
Photo Pass + will be purchased this Friday.
And TODAY~ I will be attempting to make ressies for the Fantasmic Dessert seating! Wish me LUCK!

I hope you got the Fantasmic Seating you wanted...my sisters and I did this on our trip this summer and it was great! I couldn't by any means eat all the food but I sampled it all and it was really tasty. And you can get hot chocolate while you're watching the show brought right to your seat! :cool1: Yes I drank a lot of hot chocolate in June at Disneyland - I was cold! Living in the desert tends to thin your blood and anything below 70 degrees is winter weather to me.

Sounds like you have a fun trip planned - with all the planning done once you get there you can relax and enjoy right along with your son.
