I have 2 trips planned right now! Time to start the Pre-Trip report for the 2nd trip.

Girl’s Trip 2026!

Cast of Characters:

Me:
A Disney Fan.

P (friend): Never been to any Disney Parks.

How this trip came about:

We both work in direct sales and one of our incentive trips was to Disney World in 2020! You can all guess how that went!

That prompted our talks of “we should go, it would be fun” but it was a someday type thing. We decided that if we put it on the calendar, it would make it “real”. We picked a week in October 2025 (this was probably late 2023/early 2024) and then realized later on that it was the beginning of our busy season & we needed to change it.

We decided mid-May would work for us & would be a good time to go. I have been anxiously waiting for them to allow 2026 bookings! It is *NOW* really real as we are booked! LOL!

I know it is over a year away but it will slowly get there! (I have a trip planned for this August and we are now in double digits for that trip!).

Very basic plans (which I know will change a million times)

P said she is just going to let me lead and she will follow since she has never been there before! Yikes! Although, I’m not too worried about it. I think she will have fun and I have asked her if there is anything specific that is a must do for her. On one hand having carte blanche to plan a trip can be fun, on the other it is nerve wracking!

We are staying at Pop Century which I have never been but I was talked into it instead of the All-Stars. We wanted the hotel cheap since we will be spending 90% of our time in the parks although we will have some rest time in as we are older. LOL!

We have 6 day park hoppers as I’m not sure how much we will get done each day and we may want to change things up (especially Animal Kingdom since it will probably still be in the middle of construction stuff). I am thinking 1 park/day with the extra 2 days to do the highlights or things we may have missed. We are doing the quick service dining plan also.

I originally wanted to see about getting a meal in the castle but I have a tendency to want to do *everything* and I need to taper that down since it is her first time and just getting to take everything in will be good.

Day 1 – Arrival (not sure times yet but we will be flying. I am hoping for early afternoon)

Day 2 – Magic Kingdom (Being her first time, this seems the most logical park to start with)

Day 3 – Epcot

Day 4 – Rest Day (or pick our favorites)?

Day 5 – Hollywood Studios

Day 6 – Animal Kingdom

Day 7 – Rest Day?

Day 8 – Pick our favorites

Day 9 -- Leave
