YAY! That's so awesome that you booked it!!

I am staying at POP in December! I've never stayed there before but it looks great!

The restaurants that would make people say that to me are probably Le Cellier and Chef Mickeys!

I've stayed at Pop 4 or 5 times now and coming from a family who have only stayed in Moderate and Deluxe, I was super surprised on the quality! I've never had any issues with Mousekeeping or the food while we were there! The buses have been nothing but great unless we have super super good luck which we might

Le Cellier is good but I have a feeling, after I eat at Yachtsman next week, I won't turn back haha

As for your restaurant question, I would say the same as you did, and a whole lot more too. We are not big on ADRs and usually go to the same places over and over.

Thanks! My dad was always like that, we never tried anything new. We have gotten him away from that after I lived there and ate at all new places..including Cosmic Rays which we had never dined at before I was a CP!

Hi Dis Friends!!

HAPPY AUGUST!! Where has the summer gone?!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! My weekend was pretty great! The shower and b party were both a blast!

FIRST OF ALL...since only 2 of you only had guesses for the ADRs I guess I will recap what ones we picked!

Sat 10/23 we are eating lunch at...

..We debated between this, MM, and Sci. We ruled out SF because the menu did not appeal to me and MM bc J was not happy with her meal last year (I on the other hand LOVE MM) so we went with 50s.

SUN 10/24 we are eating breakfast at...

I know what you are thinking after my horrible reviews in March and Dec but it was between this and: CM, WCC, and 1900. J didn't want to do 1900 and we couldn't get into CM and personally I think Ohana has better food than WCC so we went with that HOPEFULLY we won't be upset!

SUN 10/24 we are eating dinner at...

Neither of us have eaten there and I'm psyched! 2 character meals in one day!! I hope we won't be disappointed! We wanted CRT but with not knowing the fate of the other 2 girls and having to prepay + the only ADR we could get was 3:55 (can't get into the park till 4) we went with this!

MON 10/25 we are eating dinner at...

My brother and I gave this rave reviews in March. I just hope that J doesn't think it's too fancy for her. She turned down Japan, Coral Reef, and Italy so we'll see how it goes

Mine:

Wilderness Lodge

-We love that it's all enclosed in 1 building
-It has a good food court
-Good pool
-Nice pool/hot tub
-Nice but smaller rooms
-It feels like home to us!

As for my favorite resort. I don't think I even have to say it...definitely the Polynesian! I think it's because that was our "first" resort and we stayed there so many times. I love all the DVC resorts as well but the Poly will always have a special place in my heart.

Lets see have stayed at a ton of disney resorts, but of the ones I have, I would pick

Port Orleans, Riverside.

We stayed there on our honeymoon when it was known as Dixie Landings

I love it because it is gorgeous, quiet, a couple of alone pools and saunas which were nice at night.

Plus, I feel like I am getting deluxe accommodations at a moderate rate

my favorite disney resort is the contemporary. we have been staying there since i was born, practically. and even though some people consider the decor "sterile" , i think it definitely has a personality, i love the architecture of it as well as the mural painted on the wall in the grand concourse. it is so close to the MK, has the monorail going through it, a terrific pool, and ALOT of activities.

We Poly too but we love how the WL is all enclosed but the rooms at Poly are HUGE which is a HUGE plus!!!! Plus you can see MK and Fireworks!

Who whoulda thought haha. I just figured that since we can't get into CMs that Ohana would be good too. I'm going with friends that LOVE characters and I refuse to wait in long lines so this is a good option for us!

I enjoy POR too. POFQ was the 1st resort we ever stayed at so it holds a special place in my heart but POR is just as great!

Never stayed there If you are following my other PTR, I had booked CR for next week and changed it to YC because of those reasons that you mentioned and felt like it was a lot of money compared to YC (for once!) Maybe someday for just a night or two to just say I did it!

I haven't stayed at many of the WDW resorts, but of the ones I have stayed at my favorite would have to be Carribbean Beach. I'm sure I would feel differently if I had stayed at a deluxe resort, but I haven't! I really like Carribbean Beach's food court and gift shop. We have stayed there twice and really liked it both times. I love POFQ too, so it's almost my favorite! I've only stayed at CBR, POFQ, and ASMo! I need to broaden my horizons- that's why I'm staying at POP in Dec!

Hmmm...for your question of the day, I guess I'd have to go with WL as my favorite Disney resort! I've only stayed in 4 so far-Dixie Landings, which I really don't remember, so I don't even know if I can count it, All Star Music, WL, and Beach Club. While I LOVED Beach Club, I like WL just a little bit better. I like the location better (which surprised me, because I thought I'd like being near Epcot better when I stayed at BC, since Epcot is my favorite park!), it was my first deluxe, and my DH proposed to me there, so it's just very special to me! I LOVE Beach Club, almost as much as WL, I just love WL a little bit more!

I stayed at POR when it was Dixie too!! We stayed there in 1998 (I think?) We did a split stay, 4 nights at Poly and 3 at POR. We did the horrible thing not knowing and went from Poly to POR..needless to say there were tears when we left Poly haha.

MY FLIGHT IS BOOKED!!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY DIS!!

..The weekend is almost here!!

I just thought I would post before I head down to WDW this weekend to help my brother move in to start his WDW college program!!


As my title reads, I booked my flight tonight!!

Not sure if I mentioned before but I put my time-off request in at work but have not heard back from it. I'm sure it's because we're not sure of how many kids or staff we'll have in 79 days but I'm sure it will be fine so I'm taking and gamble and if anything, I'll be out $150 if I have to cancel my ticket.

I was on Delta.com the other day and noticed that my *wish flights* had gone down from $258 to $198! I decided that I would wait until my credit card bill closed for the month yesterday and look today..if it was still the same, I'd jump on it and it was still the same

so my flights are:

10/22:
Leaving Cincinnati at 7pm
Arriving at MCO at 9:05pm
I have an aisle seat

10/26:
Leaving MCO at 4:10
Arriving at Cincinnati at 6:20pm
Also have an aisle seat!

My flight going down is about 80% full so I'm glad I jumped on it. The flight coming home is about 40-50% full but it's a Tues night so I'm not surprised!
I'm hoping to be able to get into MCO (possibly not check bags??) and hopefully be to POP by 11pm!..Just in time to get a snack and drink at Everything POP and head to bed to start our fun adventure!

WE GOT MICKEY MAIL THE OTHER DAY!!!

I can't wait to get all the package goodies. I'm assuming we won't be getting the luggage tags and vouchers till the package is paid in full??

We will be paying in full on 9/5, 2 days before our 45 day window. I hope that's enough time to get the goodies??

I also need to call DME and set up all the info. If you know my past with DME reservations through WDW reservations..I do not use them, I deal directly with DME when I have to deal with different flights and different cities!


Well that's it for now. I'm going to buy the MNSSHP tickets either tomorrow or next week when I get back from WDW...
