Hello! I've been away from DisBoards for quite awhile, but just started reading some trip reports again and now I am sucked back in! My love for Disney parks has not gone away, and we are currently planning a trip for Disneyland this November!
Last time I left off in my previous PTR and (sadly unfinished) TR, my then boyfriend Mark and I had a magical 1 week trip to WDW. Now we are married with a little girl DD2, and this will be her second trip to Disneyland! We went last year in November as well when she was 1.5 yrs old and she still remembers moments there! Her favorite memories were meeting Pooh (she cried when we had to leave him), the Carousel, and Dumbo.
We are planning on having 3 park days, with Lightning Lane multi-pass, and one park per day.
Day 1 will be Disneyland, Day 2 will be California Adventure, and then Day 3 we will end in Disneyland!
One of my favorite things is eating while in the parks, so I am so excited for that! Some of our favorites include Storyteller's Cafe, Lamplight Lounge, and Tiana's Place.
I remember when we went to Disneyland in 2022, we were sitting at the bar eating dinner in Lamplight Lounge. The guy next to us said that he lived about 1 hour away, and he drove there just to get the lobster nachos and a Coke, and enjoy being at Disney. He said this was his first time back since COVID, and he was just so happy and content to be there. Ah to be him!
DD2 loves stickers, and I kind of want to print out a calendar, then do a Disneyland countdown with her where we put stickers on every day that passes. I'm not sure how much she would understand is going on, but it would make my Disney heart happy, so I gotta put that on my to-do list!
Any tips out there for posting pictures on the Dis? I tried dragging photos into the box from Google photos, but it doesn't seem to work. I gather that Google photos isn't an approved site? I previously used photobucket for my last TR, but they are lame now and make you pay for an account.
