and you're soooo close to going! I don't know about you, but lately all i can think about is this trip!! It's crazy that the planning portion is almost over and we're now getting started on the packing!

It's SERIOUSLY all that I can think about! I'm panicky a bit on how much $ to bring, if I forgot to buy anything, and have tried on every outfit that I've bought for the trip (complete with shoes) more times than I'd like to admit- you know all the usual pre-trip jitters and build-up! I reminded my boss that I had vacation planned and she forgot about it (after I told her Sept. then again in March) and she asked me if it would be possible to move around some of my vacation days, I almost laughed- a "Do you have any idea how much planning and thought goes into a Disney vacation?" kind of moment. It's almost here!

It is so close now!! I too cannot get Disney off the brain. Luckily my classes ended so I can focus on the important stuff now. I've been spending most of my time learning all about Coronado!

I wanted to tell you that any counter service will give you ice water for free. There's really not a reason to bring any bottles unless you just really want the spring water! It's not the best water ever, but it's not drinking fountain water!!

Also, something on our list that I didn't notice on yours is blister items. We used mole skin last time and it works pretty well. I've heard duct tape and Vasoline works really well, so we're going to bring that too this trip. I can't imagine what the airport employee scanning out bag will think!

Anyways, hope your days are going by fast!!

34 DAYS! WOO HOO!

So I have been pretty busy and my PTR has suffered as a consequence...however I'm here now and getting ready to finalize my plans and my packing list! My partner teacher and I are going away the same week, so we have been keeping a constant countdown during summer camp, which really helps when we get a little overwhelmed and remind each other of the number of days! And it also helps that I am now nearing the teens in number of days

I got a new outfit for the plane (because it's necessary!) and here it is...

I'll bring a sweater to wear on the plane. I just feel so bummy when I go on planes and when I get to my destination, so this time at least I'll be comfortable and stylish!

Brought down my luggage from the attic today, so the official packing has begun! My friend just went to Florida, close to Orlando, for about a month and I told her to text me about the weather, especially since this NJ heat is at its worst- topping out at 104 degrees this week - MISERABLE! She text me today to tell me the weather is gorgeous and her son has been living in the pool since they arrived hopefully the weather stays beautiful and bearable for about another 30 or so days! Fingers crossed!

Still waiting for my Mickey mail, but until then- a very happy 24 day countdown to me! Woo hoo!

We're just a day behind you so we're at day 24 today!! It's so close!!

I was thinking about pulling out the bags too... Since we're using ME, I was trying to plan yesterday what needs to go on the plane with us (like PJs and toothbrushes - just in case!) and what can be checked. I also want to have a separate bag for our US stint and our last day hotel change so we don't have to be lugging everything with us and unpacking everything!!

It's been crazy hot here too! Did your friend say anything about the humidity?? Just wondering how that's going to effect all of us who have grown used to the horrible heat but not much humidity!

We're using ME too and we don't get our bags for some time, last time I made the mistake of not packing an extra pair of clothes and needed items to go do something while we wait for our bags, so I will not make that mistake again! A bathing suit, extra clothes, etc! That's a good idea to have a separate bag for those days, it could get pretty confusing otherwise!

So humidity is another thing- she said it's definitely the expected Florida humidity, her hair is out of control! At least it's been cooling off here for the last few days, hopefully it is by you too! Actually turned the air conditioner off today and kept the windows open

Good! It's definitely a necessity I have never worn a maxi dress before this one and I LOVE it, I'm so glad I bought it to wear on the plane, I think it'll be really comfortable!

Yay! How crazy does that sound? Yikes! It's actually pretty hard since I work at a school (well now it's a summer camp) and literally everyone of them has or is going to WDW and this is the major topic of conversation for them! It's insanity! Plus, our next weekly theme is......you guessed it- DISNEY! With an AK, MK, and EPCOT portion! I'm seriously dying over here! I just can't stand the wait any longer! I hope you're doing much better than I am!

To make things a bit better, I FINALLY got my MICKEY MAIL today It really does feel real when that happens! I just found myself staring at my baggage tags like a little kid! Huge Disney Nerd Status!

My DBF was laughing at me in the car the other day when this song came on the radio and I turned it up and started singing and he said it's funny that the only reason I like this song is because of Disney, I didn't like it when it first came out and now I can't get enough of it! With a little over a week to go, I made another ADR!! DBF and I don't have reservations until 6:30 for Rose and Crown in Epcot on our HS day, and I was SO upset that we wouldn't be doing Sci Fi Dine In this time, so I decided we will pay OOP this time and make a lunch reservation! I have to admit that I did 50s Prime Time when I was younger and the waitress scared the life out of me, and DBF was wanting to try here if I made a lunch reservation in HS, but I just couldn't bring myself to it! I just love Sci-Fi's theming and night sky! I walk in the room in awe every time! So I'm super excited to be eating here on our trip! I was debating doing this because I only wanted to pick up something quick to eat to A. save some more time for the park and B. not over-stuff ourselves when we had a semi-early dinner reservation! Since over-stuffing is impossible in Disney, especially on the DDP , I figured we'd go for it! After all, it's vacation!

DBF has a new job and a prospective recruitment into the police academy in our town, lots of news within the past few weeks, so we have lots more to celebrate with this coming trip! It all seems so surreal! Maybe this means a possible wedding in the near future (cross those fingers!) Wouldn't it be nice to start planning a Disney wedding!!

BTW, you inspired me... the other day I was grabbing some tanks at Old Navy and Target and I bought a couple sundresses and a couple skirts! I figure I'll be in the shirts I made in the morning but I'm not going to want to put a sweaty, stinky shirt on after we nap and shower! So I'll be nice and comfy in the evenings!
