Universal Studios, the theme park dedicated to the movies, has closed the one attraction for people who are really interested in the subject. I refer, of course, to the fascinating Alfred Hitchcock exhibit, including the marvelous theater presentation on the making of Psycho. Whoever closed that attraction is really worthy of the name. And how can we now get our towels and bathrobes from the Bates Motel?
If they had kept the attraction, they might have added the timely information that Anthony Perkins' widow, Berry Berenson, was among those killed on Sept. 11, on one of the planes.
