2 more weeks and we will be on the plane on the way to DL

I see all of the July people who will be tripping to DL, but where-oh-where are the August tripsters …post your dates…what are your must do rides…how are you going to beat the heat…

Come on August people stand-up and be counted…

We are going August 10/15…looking forward to riding Nemo, TSMM and Soaring…and my all time favorite Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train…yes! I love it!

We will be stay onsite…planning to go back during the heat of the day and swim…or nap…then back to the parks for more fun in the evening…not to miss: parades, Fantasmic , fireworks and rides...rides and more rides…
Now toss in some Character meet and greets, some great food and the trip is planned…

Oh August how I love thee…let me count(down) the days…

31-Aug thru Sept 7, This is our annual trip (until it's longer acceptable for DD's to miss first days of school) except niether one of our DD's know we're going. We just purchased a new Pop-Up and have been camping all Summer long. They know we usually go but DW and I have been telling them it's not feasable this year. They were a little bumbed but we've been keeping busy. The night before we go we'll have The Big Mouse make his call and inform them. It's been killing DW and I not to tell, but the evil * side of us are enjoying this one. We've stayed at GC and DLRH several times and this year we'll try the PPH. We cant wait...

Dang, lots of people this week! We're there 12-14 for my 35th B-day. Poor dh has to work the 12th and 14th tho. We've got breakfast with Minnie on Wed. morning. Other than that, we'll probably be found hanging by the GCH pool

12 more days til we leave I just got back from our local Disney Store and buying our 5 day park hoppers. I got them for the same price in Canadian dollars as US dollars at the advance purchase price $164/194

Visiting family first so we won't be in Disney until Sunday but who cares....we are on our way...almost!

We leave for DL tomorrow night! In the parks 14-16. We're actually escaping the hotter'nhell heat of central CA, and I can't wait to ride Splash Mountain, Grizzly River Run, etc.--all the good wet fun we miss/don't dare to do on our Feb & Oct visits!
We're normally insanely strict on naps for DS4 & DD1, but my kids know they get "no nap days!" at Disneyland Does passing out in a stroller for 12 minutes while Mommy waits in line for hot dogs count as a nap?
Staying at the BW Park Place right across the street just in case someone seriously melts down, but hopefully it'll just be a place to fall down dead tired after the park kicks us out each night!
