Hey, it has been a secret for too long, finally gonna let the 2- grandaughters know about the secret, after their Dance Recital, Saturday at a surprise dinner!We, and their mom & Dad are going to send them on a scavenger hunt, to find their tickets to WDW, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, etc. They have no clue that we, the grand-parents and their parents have kept this a secret for too long, Gotta let the cat out of the bag, I, myself cannot wait any longer, suspense is KILLING me!!!!!!!!What do you think their reaction will be???? We are so excited!!!!Christmastime at the most Magical Place on Earth!!!!!!!!and oh yea, tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas!!!!how Awesome.nana2tots

We are going to suprise my DD about a trip to WDW in October. Her grandparents are going with us (they have never been) I am still working on how to suprise her. Any Ideas would be great! Her favorite Character it Eeyore & Pluto!! We will be going to the MNSSHP also!!

Oh my gosh! Let me just say that, if you've never been to MVMCP, you will have the most magical time!!!

I've been to Disney 18 times and last December was my first time during the holidays - I have to say that, I can't imagine the holidays without tickets to MVMCP again!

If you weren't in the Christmas mood when leaving the Magic Kingdom after that night, you must truly be Scrooge (ha, ha).

Have a great time - I love the surprise trips - my parents did that a lot for my sister and I growing up - and they are some of the fondest memories we have!

Have fun telling them too!

My Mom & I took my son out for dinner and she gave him a gift bag. In it was a Disney book for Kids. She wrote inside it that he would need it for our trip to WDW last December (I think she gave it to him in August). He read it, reread it and had this crazy look on his face like he didn't get it. Then he said "We're going to Disney World?". Oh my gosh, he was so darn excited!!!

I think it's so neat when you do it as a surprise! Hopefully we can surprise him again sometime soon with another trip!

Thanksgiving of 2002 we told our sons that we would be helping a friend move some clothes and things into there new home, which they had never seen. I had our suitcase in the car from the night before. We pick them up and they throw in their bags and golf clubs still no reaction. My girlfriend told her daughter that we were going to a shelter to help out with dinner and to drop off some clothes. We kept the kids apart for a week or two.

We drive into the airport parking and my DS goes "Mom, this doesn't look like the new house." My girlfriend and I just crack up laughing and say noooo "We're going to Disney World" THE SCREAMS!!! It brought tears to my eyes!!! Then all the questions where we staying, did you bring my pins, how long etc etc. We had a WONDERFUL time. It was so hard to keep it a secret.


BTW we had so much fun surprising them we're doing it again for our August trip. This time it's just 3 moms and 4 kids and they don't have a clue.

Nana enjoy the surprise it really is hard not to say anything but it's worth it to see their reactions.

We too are taking my niece and it is a surprise. Grandma is coming along too. We are trying to decide how and when exactly to tell her. The trip isn't until September. Can't wait to see her face when she finds out!!!

It was totally Awesome!!!!!gurls had a ball on their Scavenger hunt. I guess the best was when they found the tickets to MVMCP, this was too funny, the 9 yr. old looked at us and said, "Is this a hotel?"I cracked up, the 4 yr. old just went along w/ big Sissy, it was too cute, as soon as i figure out how to post pics, i will do so.They had no idea at all about the trip.
