Hi all-
Some friends of ours will be at WDW for the week of Oct. 8 - 14 and they are kind of "unstructured" people. (in a good way!!!) Do you think they can get a way without making any PS's for their trip if they plan on eating early every night and kind of "winging it" (This totally goes against my commando-style planning/obsessing etc.)? I told them they would wait a bit for dinner but how long do you think they would wait at say- Teppanyaki if they went around 6 pm?
Thanks all!

The dining plan seems to be affecting the availability at TS restaurants. We were there a few weeks ago (last week of Aug.) when the parks were not that busy, but several TS places (Sci Fi, CRT, and LeCellier's) were not taking any walk-up's at all past 4pm!

It wouldn't hurt for them to pick a few places they know they'd enjoy and make AR's. They can always cancel them at the last minute if they change their minds.

I think they may have a really hard time getting into most places without an ADR. We are going to be there 10/3-10/10. Luckily I made most of our ADR over a month ago. I have had second thoughts on a few places and have called in the last few days to try to get some new ADR's and every restaurant I have have tried has 0 availability.

I think they should try to make some ADR's otherwise, they may be stuck with counter service only

I'm going to be there 11-15th and some difficulty with ADR availability at the more popular restaurants, even during off times.

pirate: We are going to be at WDW the same dates. I made sure to make ADR's for everyday at the 90 day mark. It's better to be safe. :goodvibes
