PSs a little late

I just called to get PSs for 1900 park fare for dinner for April 16-23. The only thing I could get was Tues night around 7:50p. Everything else was booked. Has anybody ever gotten there like around the same day & got PSs? Chef Mickey's was totally booked for the whole week. Usually I have everything planned by now,but all the family members couldn't seem to get their act together.

Northern schools have vacation those weeks, A lot of people I know are going to FL to escape winter. Winter has been around too long this year.

It's making me rethink my 5 year relocation plan.

Call back a week or 2 before your trip to see if something else opens up.

I hear you when you say family members. We have a summer trip planned and my mother says she is coming one day and doesn't know another day. At least we have enough rooms book though, lol! When we went two years ago, we could not get either Chef Mickeys or Park Faire for when we wanted. We eventually got CM by calling back every 2 days or so. For Park Faire, we never did get a PS time to our liking, so we got there when it opened (Ithink it was 5 pm) and they seated us right away. And, we were a party of 10.

I tried to get Chef Mickey's for 4/27 yesterday... earlies they had was 7:30... then tried for Crystal Palace... 4:15 and then booked solid for the rest of the day. Finally settled on Liberty Tree Tavern at 7:15.

Gee shafke, you sound like me, I tried for cp too, I got a chef mickey time another day for like the same time you said. I am going to have to rearrange my whole schedule now. It looks like it will be busy. I dont mind eating later as our kids are teens, but I feel sorry for those with little kids.

I think I'm going to try again during the week & see what I can get. We've done Crystal Palace every year for the past 2 years. I don't think my 13 yr old DS could stand another hug from Tigger. Last year Tigger made him get up & dance with him. We laughed so hard.

Interesting that you were able to get a 7:15 for LTT about 5 weeks out. I wanted 7 pm. I called at 7 am on the nose on the 90th day out and the latest I could get for LTT was 5:25. They said that was the latest they were offering. I guess I'll call back every week or so and ask again.
