My PSA for the day is: if you carry a cell phone - have some "easy" to find contacts or contacts listed in "ICE" that if your cell phone gets lost, that you are easy-to-find.
I coach a high school team, and we were in Knoxville TN last week. ONe of my seniors lost his phone on Saturday night, the last night of the event. His phone was most likely on the UT campus. Somewhere. He did try to find it, assuming it fell out of his pocket on the sand-volleyball court. NOPE - nothing doing with that attempt.
On Sunday morning, his mom got a call (she had already left TN to return from Wisconsin) from a person who found the phone. The finder looked at the contact list for any type of number - under MOM, DAD, or Grandma. The mom contacted a different team mom, who hadn't left Knoxville yet, and the 2nd mom picked up the phone on her way home. YEAH!!! a happy ending!!!
And to the person who took the time to get the phone back to the correct owner...YOU ROCK!!! Thank you!!!!
