We just got off the Wonder yesterday. Just a reminder to check behind the drawers when you pack up your belongings. We checked all of them when we were packing and found clothing behind ALL of the bottom drawers in the room...although none of the clothing was ours...two pairs of kids pants, one pair of kids shorts, three pairs of underwear, one shirt, one pair of leggings, swimsuit top...took the entire pile of clothing to the front desk for lost and found. You actually have to pull out the entire drawer to access the back bottom area, but it is really easy. Don't be fooled by the drawers closing fully...all of ours fully closed all 9 days and we would not have noticed the clothing if we would not have pulled out the drawers.

We, too, found a shirt in our drawer that was left behind by a previous cruiser.

Lol I found rather large undergarments (think triple d) and a single flip flop behind ours last time. Don't know what the flip flop was doing there but there it was.
I also found the small plastic toy disney characters behind the curtain between the couch and bed. Poor child must have been playing or hiding them and the whole set got left behind. Took it all to GS hopefully the child got them back. Yes always think of Toy Story. I hate losing sentimental items soooo much.

It was a light green adult woman's flip flop (or teen) but it was in perfect condition even the little bow on top was attached - I guess they stowed their flip flops in the drawers. So that's also when I realized I had to wipe out drawers as well before putting our clean clothing in there. I had a travel pack and luckily had enough. When we ventured away from DCL and tried another cruise line, I knew to check and wipe. I also saw some melted something in one drawer and was disgusted. Left it empty the whole time and told host. It was never taken care of, but now I bring more wipes and the super duty wipes.

That is really gross! I will be sure to pack some lysol wipes, not what I would expect from Disney...

For clarification: The melted stuff was NOT on DCL

Just the flip Flop that fell through the back of the drawers and the other item. It happens that things fall behind even at home. But like PP stated the drawers close all the way so you don't have a hint that something is back there unless you notice or lose something and go looking ... remove drawers and wham an bunch of lost stuff.
But the hosts can't possibly be removing all drawers in all SR all the time so a quick check that's all. BY the way the gross stuff is actually passengers fault almost 100% of the time.

Glad I have packing cubes. Don't have to worry about dirty drawers or things falling out and being left behind.

Our daughter "lost" a dress on our last Wonder cruise. She accused me of throwing it away since it was one I did not like. We found it behind the drawer when we packed to leave. We had to remove the drawer completely to check behind it. We removed the drawer because I could not close it completely when we were doing our final check. But... during the cruise the drawer had been closing with the dress behind it so I do not know what made the difference once the drawer was empty.

I had socks fall behind the drawer on my last cruise, but I knew it happened. I could NOT figure out how to get the drawer out so I had to have my stateroom host do it for me.

Much better than finding every drawer full of clothes ie. Jeans, shirts, socks, shoes

Ummm, yeah, I guess so. Was just adding a comment to let others know that we also found a clothing item. And, since we did and so did others, it might be a pretty common thing to find one or more articles of clothing in the drawers when you board.
