I had to share this with my peeps on the Budget Board because I know y'all would appreciate this one!
I mentioned to my high school students that my sons wanted a PS3 for Christmas. One of the guys said, "Miss! I'm selling mine!"
The PS3 -- in the box with the original instructions, packaging etc. -- with a controller, a charger, SEVEN games, and even some upgraded stuff for one of them (Call of Duty) for $200. Everything works -- I just called his mother to confirm that it's ok for him to sell it and that everything works, and it is and it does!
(In fact, she's asked if I could keep an ear out for anyone selling a slightly used Xbox because that's what HE'S putting the $200 towards!)
Do I normally buy used stuff for the kids for Christmas? No, but since they were going to pool their Christmas money to buy one at Gamestop for a lot more, they're more than cool with the idea!
Celebrate with me!
