Hey everybody! :wave2:

Quick question!

I'll be making our ps seating ressies next week, and I'm wondering if the whole "60 days" in advance thing is set in stone.

For example, we're planning on BB for our first night's dinner which is 11/11, so I KNOW I have to call on 9/11.

For our other PS's, does it have to be exactly 60 days, or could I just make all the PS's at the same time?

I know it's a silly question, but I'm a few beers into the evening. ;)

Thanks everybody! I can't believe the trip's ALMOST HERE!!!

You do have to make them 60 days in advance, so you can't make those others for later in your stay that same time.

But... I'm not a big advocate of calling every morning, 60 days in advance of EACH day of your trip, right at 8 a.m. or whenever it is... I seriously don't think it's that crucial.

I just made my PS's last week kinda late, with only 5 weeks to go. Dinner Cafe Orleans Sunday 6 p.m., Dinner Ralph Brennan's Monday 6 p.m., Minnie & Friends Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Napa Rose chef's counter Wed. 5:30 p.m., and BB lunch Thursday 11:30 a.m. No problem at all with any of them, the only change was Napa Rose was available at 5:30 instead of 6 p.m.

You could probably wait until 60 days before the LAST day of your trip, and make them all at once, and have no problem getting the times you want. If it's really crucial you get that BB at a particular time, maybe you could make that one separately; but otherwise I rather doubt it's so necessary to get each day right at 60 days out.

Hope that helps!

Gail is exactly right. I also have never had a problem get the place, date, and time I wanted for my party. But that also depends on the place and day you want. For example, the CM the other day when I made mine, first thing he said to me when I told him I was calling to make PS for Nov. 1 (I called on Sep. 1) was "ok, is this for BB, Ariels, or Goofys". I told him it was for neither and he (Chad) told me they dont get people calling this far in advance for other places usually.
I did, however, have trouble getting the time I wanted for breakfast at Carnation Cafe for halloween morning. I wanted 9am, but got 940am. And while I still agree with what Gail said above, it is always better safe than sorry, so I called each morning, just not right at 8am. (I needed more beauty sleep).

HTH!

I would advise you to make your Blue Bayou ressie on the 60 day mark. The others, probably not as crucial and would agree with the above people.

Some places open before 60 day mark. BB and character meals usually stick to 60 day mark, but the others may open sooner. When I made my PS for BB, I asked CM to check my other ones. I was able to make 3 that were more than 60 days out.

That's good to know! Never heard that before. Thanks!:thumbsup2

Oh! :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: everybody!!

I figured the BB would be the most important PS to make, so I'm definitely calling on the 11th for that!

I'll let you know if they let me make any others when I call!

You're all AWESOME! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
