I calllled the *dine* line and got 2 PS to character dining for our trip April 13-18.
I wrote the times in my calendar - but not a confirmation #. Should I have received one? Or do we use our last name when we arrive?
How much in advance to you arrive?
How late can you be before they give it away?
Do you need one for BTRRBBQ? Or can you ust show at off peak times?

TIA!

At Disneyland, you just use your last name, no confirmation number. I think they told us to be there 15 minutes early for our PS at Goofy's Kitchen last fall.

I don't know the other answers.

We went to BTRBBQ last october around noon on a saturday with no PS and had to wait about 30-35 minutes. It wasn't a horrible wait but I wish we had PS (it was a last minute decision to go). If you go during non-peak times it might not be too bad but you might also be hitting some spring break crowds. If I were you I would make PS. You can always cancel if you need to. Sorry, i can't help with the other questions. :)

As PPs have said, DLR just uses your name for PSs so no need for a confirmation number. Also, it doesn't hurt to make a PS if you are even thinking about eating somewhere as you can always change/cancel it later...better to be safe than wait forever for a meal when you can be spending it on rides ;)

I usually arrive for my PS about 10-15 minutes early. Not sure how long they wait before they give away your reservation. I've actually called Disney Dining to inquire about being late for a PS (in case our flight was late) and they said to just get there as soon as you can. Not sure if you are aware, a PS does not guarantee you a table at the time of your reservation. It only guarantees you the next available table. I guess it would depend on the CMs working there and how accommodating they are? Just curious, but is there a particular reason for why you're asking this? If you are worried that you would be late because of something you cannot control (i.e. traffic and flight delays), then I would try to make a later PS to factor it in. Also, you can always try calling on the day of as you get closer to your PS time and see if they can move your PS back (depends on availability).
