Hi,

We (wife, myself and two kids, ages 12+11) are going to WDW 4/19-26...I called today for Hoop-de-Doo and Chef Mickey's and as expected, they were both filled...I was hoping for some advice:

1. Has anyone gone to the 9:30 Hoop-de-Doo with their kids and how was it? How did you arrange the meals for the day? Was it not worth doing due to the late hour or would you do it again if that was the only availability?

We have never been to Hoop-de-Doo and I know it is pricey...in one of the Disney Guide books, it mentions asking for a disct for the 9:30 show - has anyone ever recd such a disct?

2. Ditto for Chef Mickey's on the later dinner - I think I was told the only openings were 9:00 - too late? Has anyone ever done this and how was it? Bkfst was booked solid as well..the kids love the atmosphere there.

3. Finally, I thought I read some advice a long time ago regarding cancellations on when best to call but i do not recall - was it early the next morning their systems get updated? what time would you call for cancellations?

thanks,

Jim

Can't help much, but I have read in other trip/dining reports that if you do a late dinner at Chef Mickey's (or other character meals) the restaurant gets fairly empty and you get more character time.

Hope this helps a little, good luck getting what you're looking for!
